If you’re traveling with your four-legged friend, you might be interested in the most pet-friendly airports in the country, a list gathered by PetFriendlyTravel.
From airport dog parks (the Reno-Tahoe International Airport calls theirs a Bark Park) and pet runs, to pet potty areas, these airports don’t just cater to human travel but also your canine and feline counterparts. California airports are very pet-friendly, with Pet Parks set up at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Ontario (ONT), San Diego (SAN) and San Francisco (SFO).
Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix has two pet parks – the “Bone Yard” outside of Terminal 4 and the “Paw Pad Pet Park” outside Terminal 3. Additional pet friendly airports with either pet parks or dog walks include the Seattle Tacoma International Airport (SEA), Texas’ Austin Airport (AUS), Oregon’s Portland Airport (PDX), Philadelphia International (PHL), Ohio’s Columbus Airport (CMH), Miami International (MIA), Minnesota St. Paul (MSP), Boston’s Logan International (BOS), and Colorado’s Denver International Airport (DIA).
