Stuck on a layover at Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG)? Located in Hebron, Kentucky, the airport is roughly 13 miles (21 km) from downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, which makes it an accessible destination to those stuck on a long layover. The airport is the main hub for Delta airlines, and if you’re stuck in the airport during you’re layover, you’ll find that there’s plenty to do. To help you get situated, you can find maps of the terminals here.

On your layover, you can take advantage of the airport’s many services including a Business Center in Terminal 3, Concourse B, 10 Minute Manicure at Terminal 3 Concourse B, banking and currency exchange in terminal 2 and 3, a children’s play area in Terminal 3 Concourse A, an interfaith chapel, and videophones are also available.
The airport also offers a couple of lounges for passengers to spend their layovers. There is a Military Lounge in Terminal 3, Gate 27, and a Delta Crown Room in Terminal 3, Gate 11.
Free wireless Internet is available in Terminals 2 & 3 courtesy of Lily Pad and Time Warner. T-Mobile provides paid wireless internet in the gate areas of Concourses A & B. There are also individual workstations in Concourse B.
If you’re looking to leave the airport and explore Cincinnati, you can arrange taxi service at the taxi desk in Terminal 3 bag claim. From the airport to downtown Cincinnati, costs roughly $27 by taxi. Call 859-767-3260 for more information. The airport also offers shuttle, van and car service through Executive Transportation for $20 to Downtown or Covington, or a $30 round-trip. Call 859-261-8841 or visit their website. Shuttle times to downtown Cincinnati are approximately 25 minutes.

I have worked at CVG and have a few corrections.
It is not the main hub for Delta Air Lines, it is actually one of it’s smaller hubs. In fact it is such a small hub when compared to other Delta hubs that it might be considered a Delta focus city instead of a big hub. Flights have been reduced exponentially over the past few years after Delta’s merger with Northwest.
The Business Center in Terminal 3 is no longer there. Concourse A of Terminal 3 is also closed and will reopen at some point during Spring/Summer of 2012. When it reopens, Terminal 2 will close for good.
The Delta Crown Room in Concourse B is by gate B14, not B11.
