Stuck on a layover at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) in Florida? The airport is the main hub for Spirit Airways, and is located three miles (5 km) from downtown Fort Lauderdale. If you’re stuck on your layover inside the airport, there’s plenty to do to keep you occupied during your wait. In addition to many shops and restaurants in the airport, there are business centers located in all four terminals where you can access ATMs, travel insurance and stamps. Wireless Internet is available in the airport in all terminals and concourse areas through your laptop, personal digital assistant, or other wireless device. If you’re looking to drop your bags off while you explore, Public Baggage Storage is available in all terminals. Hours vary at the locations but the Terminal 2 location is open 7 days a week from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. For more information call 954-359-7610. According to the website, Southwest Airlines passengers who will be embarking on a cruise, may arrange in advance for seaport check-in for the return flight.
