The airport is the main hub for Spirit Airways, and is located three miles (5 km) from downtown Fort Lauderdale. If you’re stuck on your layover inside the airport, there’s plenty to do to keep you occupied during your wait. In addition to many shops and restaurants in the airport, there are business centers located in all four terminals where you can access ATMs, travel insurance and stamps. Wireless Internet is available in the airport in all terminals and concourse areas through your laptop, personal digital assistant, or other wireless device.
