If you’re stuck inside the new Durban airport during your layover in South Africa, you’ll find plenty of services and activities. The airport has a number of bars and restaurants in both the food court and landside piazza, and a number of shops in the Arrivals Hall and in Domestic Departures. The airport has retail consultants available to assist you during office hours (call 032-436-6666 for more information).

In addition, the airport also has a number of banks on the ground floor of the passenger terminal building that can assist with currency exchange.
