A James Bond Getaway At GoldenEye Resort, Jamaica
What is sexier than a James Bond inspired tropical Jamaican getaway to luxurious villas, private beaches, while you swim in the warm Caribbean waters and drink rum cocktails? If you answered, “nothing” than the GoldenEye Resort in Oracabessa, Jamaica has your name on it.
James Bond, you said?
It turns out that Ian Fleming, the novelist who penned the famous James Bond stories, wrote a whopping 17 books in a cliff-side villa at the resort. On your holidays in Jamaica, you can stay in the den of his inspiration, the three-bedroom Fleming House that features a private swimming pool, private beach, outdoor deck and rain shower, and can even work at the desk that he wrote the words, “Bond. James Bond.”
The hotel also offers a ton of activities including deep-sea fishing (they even offer to cook what you catch), scuba, snorkeling, horseback riding, and jet-skiing to name a few.
And while you’re out and about, don’t be surprised to run into a celebrity or two. Goldeneye is known for it’s a-list clientele including the likes of Michael Caine, Johnny Depp, Quincy Jones and Kate Moss who have all planted trees at GoldenEye and making a donation to help the island’s local development.
And the best part is… you don’t have to leave. Ever.
Construction in underway to build eleven beach cottages and seven spa cottages at GoldenEye – that you can own.
On that note, I’ll take a vodka martini – shaken not stirred.
