Mud Island – Mississippi River Park and Museum
At this unusual park, visitors can tour the ½ mile Riverwalk model, visiting the 18-gallery Mississippi River Museum, rent a kayak or canoe, or exploring Mud Island River Park by bicycle. The park also has an amphitheatre with views of downtown Memphis.

National Civil Rights Museum
The National Civil Rights Museum is located at the Lorraine Motel, the assassination site of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The museum features key aspects of the American civil rights movement, and ways to promote civil and human rights efforts globally.
