The famous mother of eight, from the TLC show “Kate Plus Eight” is boarding the Allure of the Seas in August 2012.
These family cruises will be on the newest ship in Royal Caribbean’s Oasis class, complete with the first Starbucks at sea, the musical “Chicago” playing in the main theater, and visits from friends of the Dream Works experience including Shrek, Po the Panda, and more. The ship also offers the Vitality Spa which offers a number of treatments including yoga classes and Tai Chi.
The boat itself also features a carousel, aerial acrobats, surfing simulators, and a zip line.
Fans of Kate Gosselin can meet her for a morning brunch, a private barbeque with a “fabulous band,” and other activities. She is also joining guests for a shore excursion. Guests will also get a commemorative personalized gift from Kate, can join an optional charity dinner, attend her Q & A session, join her for a book signing and learn a new craft from Kate herself.
Double occupancy rooms begin at $1600, and from there can go upwards to $5500 for the week.
Since TLC canceled the reality mom’s show back in August, she has been exploring alternate revenue streams to support her family.
In November, Kate became a contributor Coupon Cabin, writing on ways families can save.
