The statue in this image is located in the Boston Public Garden, NOT on Boston Common. Boston Common and the Boston Public Garden are distinctly separate parks, The Common being 203 yrs older. The Common and the Public Garden are separated by Charles Street.
The George Washington Equestrian is the largest and arguably the most beautiful statue in the Boston Public Garden.
