Stuck on a Vanuatu layover at Bauerfield International Airport (VLI)? The airport is located on the island Efate and is roughly a 10 minute taxi ride (5 km) from Port Vila which makes it an accessible destination for long layovers. If you’re stuck at the airport during your layover, Vanuatu’s Bauerfield International Airport offers a number of services including souvenir shopping and the Flight Café restaurant. There’s also banking services with National Bank and ANZ, a customers service desk is in the Arrivals Hall, and Internet access is available for passengers through Moorings Hotel in the check-in area.

The airport has two lounges including a Business Lounge for passengers in the departure lounge with air-conditioning, refreshments and Internet access. If you’re looking to drop off your bags and explore Port Vila, left luggage facilities are available for passengers. For Vt 200 per item, luggage will be screened and stored in the adjacent freight terminal.
