The airport dozens of food and beverage options in the domestic and international terminals, as well as duty free and regular shopping. There is also a ton of additional services including Internet, mosques, banks and currency exchanges, a health clinic, luggage wrapping machines, meeting and conference halls and baggage custody services.

There are four VIP lounges at the airport including the THY CIP Lounge for Turkish Airlines fist and business class ticket holders, the AnadoluJet “Primeclass” Lounge for Anadolujet travelers, as well as TAV Passport, Airport Angels, Priority Pass, ING Special Banking Card, specified TEB cards, Turkish Airlines passengers and “primeclass” CIP Service guests. In addition, there is the İş Bank Millennium Lounge for first and business class travelers of contracted airlines, and the Comfort Lounge for primeclass CIP service and to any passenger willing to pay an individual entrance fee.

IF you plan on leaving the airport, there are a number of transportation options including taxis available 24/7 at the Domestic and International Arrivals and Departures floors. The Public Transport Bus Line 442 can be found at the Arrivals Floor in both the Domestic and International Terminal. Car rental is also available. Note that the Havas Shuttle, which traveled between the Esenboğa Airport and Ankara’s city center, has temporarily been halted.

Kocatepe Mosque (Kocatepe Camii)

The largest mosque in Ankara, the Kocatepe Mosque was built recently, between 1967-1987 and it has become a prominent landmark that altered the city’s skyline. Ankara Castle

The Anitkabir is a mausoleum for the leader of the Turkish War of Independence, Mustafa Kenal Ataturk. With more than a million visitors each year, it is a great place to learn about the history of Turkey. The architecture and views are impressive as well.

Aquavega Aquarium

A great place to escape the summer heat, the Aquavega aquarium in Ankara has an underwater tunnel where you can view sharks, as well as many additional unique fish on display.
