There are a few lounges at the Adnan Menderes Airport including the Millenium Lounge in the International Terminal, which hosts first and business class travelers of contracted airlines, Is Bank credit card holders, and TAV Passport Cardholders. In the Domestic Lounge is the Comfort Lounge for TAV Passport Cardholders and travelers who pay individual entrance fees, and the THY CIP Lounge for Classic Plus, Business Class, Elit and Elit Plus Cardholders.

There is also subway, north and south line, with 31 stations, and ferry services (8 in total) from Bostanli, Karsiyaka, Bayrakli, Alsancak, Pasaport, Konak, Goztepe and Uckuyular. Public buses (route numbers 200, 202, and 204) run to and from the airport. There is also the Havaş airport shuttle bus which can be found at the Turkish Airlines office (although will be suspended from November 1, 2014 until April 1, 2015). Located at the Konak Square of Izmir, the Saat Kulesi (or Izmir Clock Tower) is a historic tower built in 1901 is 82 feet tall, and is a symbolic feature of the city. It is located in the heart of the city, and you can find shopping and restaurants nearby.
This quarter in Izmir is a mixture of a nice beachfront and a busy city. There is a large concentration of bars, restaurants, cafes, nightlife, and entertainment in Alsancak. Great for a night layover in Izmir.
The Kemeralti Market in Izmir is a historic bazaar. The market is a maze of alleys that sells everything from jewelry and clothes to fruit and cheeses. Coffee cafes are located in the center, and there is also Hisar Camii, Izmir’s largest mosque, here.
