The airport is located 6 miles from downtown Alicante which makes it an accessible destination for those who are stuck on long layovers. Alicante stopoverIf you’re stuck in the Alicante airport during your layover, you’ll find that there’s plenty to do. The airport has restaurants, shopping, and a number of services including first aid, currency exchange, ATMs, baggage wrapping, kids play areas, a conference center, WiFi and more.

The Alicante airport has a VIP lounge located on the third floor of the boarding area on P3. It is open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (until midnight from April to October) and costs €26.50.
