The airport is located 18 miles from Kyiv’s city center, which makes it an accessible destination for those who are stuck on long layovers. The airport has restaurants, shopping, and a number of services including free Wi-Fi, banks and ATMs, and medical facilities. There are children’s facilities in Terminal F that include a napping, conference hall, relaxing and play areas for up to 6 hours. There are also beauty centers – a nail bar and a hair salon – located in Terminal B.

The Boryspil airport has a few options for VIP lounges available for passengers. There is a Mastercard Business Lounge for Mastercard premium card holders regardless of airline or service class in Terminal D, for up to two hours (one visit per day). Accepted cards include World Elite MasterCard, Platinum MasterCard, Debit Platinum MasterCard, and Corporate MasterCard. There is also the Premier VIP Lounge in Terminal D that costs 1800 UAH (with VAT) per passenger. In addition, the Boryspil airport has Business Lounges in Terminals B (internal flights) and F (international flights). Price to enter the Business Lounges costs 480 UAH (with VAT) per person for the first two hours, and 240 UAH for each subsequent hour.

Kyiv Pechersk Lavra

The main street of Kyiv, Khreshchatyk Street is a great place for tired travelers to stretch their legs, get a feel for the city, grab a bite to eat, and shop. The street is ¾ of a mile long and stretches through the Bessarabska and Maidan Squares.

St. Andrew’s Church

While the St. Andrew’s Church isn’t considered the most spectacular cathedral in Kyiv, its beautiful façade and impressive city views from this 18th century Baroque church makes it well worth the visit.
